I first tried this Prosecco last year at the 2012 VinItaly US Tour in New York and loved it, and today I found it in Pennsylvania.  This Prosecco is not too sweet nor too dry, but just right, just like in the tale of Goldilocks.  I get a little bit of toast but also a little bit of lemon and lime which goes down perfectly.  It is neither over emphasized nor too weak and should be a wine tried by just about everyone.  Monetto is a great producer, with another Prosecco that also makes my fancy.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
